Is This One Way To Build a Great Life?

An object in motion stays in motion—unless something stops it.

Newton’s first law.

But also, a cheat code for life.

The Invisible Force Behind Everything Great.

Momentum is underrated.

It’s the silent force that builds businesses, transforms bodies, and multiplies wealth.

Not just because you started—but because you stayed in motion long enough for compounding to kick in.

Most people stop too soon. Questioning if they’re moving too fast, working too hard, or risking too much.

But if you are the only thing that can slow yourself down—why stop?

What Happens When You Don’t Stop

At beehiiv, we have been creating content at an unmatchable pace. new ideas, and so much more!

Last week, I hit a personal record every single day in lifting.

My first thought?

“This can’t last. I should slow down. I’ll burn out.”

But nothing happened. No exhaustion, no crash—just progress.

Then I went running, got a cramp, and struggled to hit that same pace for a week.

That’s the thing about momentum: losing it isn’t a simple restart.

It takes twice the effort, twice the time, and sometimes, you never fully recover.

The Hard Truth About Momentum

If you’re chasing something big—your dream business, your ideal body, your best work—you have to make sacrifices.

Could you be sipping a margarita on a beach right now? Of course.

But if you’ve chosen to build, then build.

No second-guessing. No wondering if you’re missing out.

How To Build Momentum (And Keep It)

1. Do the thing you’ve been avoiding. The task lingering in your head, unfinished. That’s the one.

2. Create a routine. (Yes, it’s boring. But boring things compound.)

3. Reduce decisions. The more friction you remove, the faster you move.

4. If it’s not a hell yes, it’s a no. Momentum isn’t luck. It’s built. And once you have it, don’t let go.

5. Never miss two days in a row. Missing a day is ok, missing two days in a row, you lose the momentum.

Notes:

• Let life flow through you. When you know you can push a bit harder, do it.

• When you feel like you might burn out or regret forcing something—change it.

• Life never goes as planned. So if something knocks you off course, let it.

• But get back to it as soon as you can. That’s how you win.

Keep moving. Keep building.
