Hey!

How are ya?

Sharing a few things that stood out to me this week.

Straight from my notes app.

One thought this week:

Never be vanilla

I first heard this on My First Million. The more I think about it, the more it applies to… everything.

Lifting. Work. Writing. Content. Products.

Lifting? Don’t half-rep with light weights. Go to failure.

Work? Don’t clock out at 5 if you’re fired up. Stay up till 3 am if it’s pulling you in.

Content? Don’t chase what’s trending. Create what cuts.

Trying to please everyone means no one remembers you.

Because no one shares bland.

One learning this week:

You can be in a slump and still keep moving.

Not every season feels inspiring. Some days are flat.

Some weeks, you’re just… showing up.

And last week, I slumped. 4 days of not wanting to talk. not wanting to be around anyone.

So I did the only thing I know that makes me happy - drive. gym. work. write. catching up with friends.

I think that’s where momentum starts. not from waiting to be ready.

Some days, you don’t need to sprint.

And you’re too restless to rest.

Those are the days you need to move anyway.

One quote I read and loved:

“Discipline is just choosing what you want most over what you want now.”

Simple. Brutal. Accurate.

Content I watched this week:

I finally watched Whiplash.

And I watched it at 2 am, so I am unsure how good of a decision it was.

The intensity. The obsession. The cost.

So much to say about it — but for now:

It’s a reminder that greatness isn’t clean.

And that feedback, even when it hurts, can either crush you or sharpen you.

That’s all from me for this week, see ya next Tuesday.

Until then, keep crushing it.
