Why am I writing this
Seven years ago, I had a blog with maybe 100 readers, a few of them still read this newsletter (👋)
That blog’s gone, but it taught me everything.
Same with my work: hundreds of cold emails, late nights, just to get a shot with people I admired.
None of it was quick. All of it was worth it.

1 Insight
You’re not bad at the thing.
You’re just bad at giving it enough time
Before you decide if something is “working,” give it 90 days of consistent effort.
Not three days of enthusiasm.
Not three weeks of half-effort.
Ninety days.
I’ve learned this the hard way. Most things don’t show results instantly. They need a runway.
The problem? We quit too early, usually right before it starts compounding.
1 Habit
Every Sunday, review your 90-day streak:
Ask: “Did I show up every day?”
Don’t ask: “Is it working?”
That question comes only at the end.
1 Tool
Set up a recurring daily reminder. Yes, even with ChatGPT.
Think of it as your “boomer productivity hack” — it just works.

I use it all the time lol.
Or go old‑school: make a Google Sheet with 90 checkboxes. Each day you show up, tick one box.
No judgment until all 90 are checked. Boring. But that’s why it works.
1 Story

In 1969, The Beatles were tired. George Harrison, in particular, was frustrated. He felt overshadowed and doubted if his songwriting even mattered in the band. He considered walking away. But he kept showing up, writing a little every day, refusing to judge his work too soon.
Ninety days later, he brought a song to the studio that would change everything: "Something"—now one of the most loved Beatles songs of all time.
Had Harrison quit earlier, he would’ve never written it. The world would’ve never heard it.
Your work might be on the edge of its own “Something.”
Give it 90 days before you decide it’s worth.
The next 90 days will pass whether you commit or not. When they’re over, you’ll either be holding proof that it was worth it or wondering forever what could have happened if you hadn’t stopped.
That’s it for this week!
