Why I am writing this
It had been a long time since
I felt like I was truly making progress in my fitness journey. I hated that. No matter how much I wanted it, my goals felt like they were slipping away. Two weeks ago, I decided to change that. I dialed in my diet, reset my mindset, and made a promise to myself: every day I stepped into the gym, I’d give it my absolute best. Nothing more, nothing less. That decision sparked something new in me — and this past week of hitting personal records was the proof.
1 Insight
things that look impossible from a distance slowly start to feel possible once you start putting in the work.
From this, I realized something simple but powerful: things that look impossible from a distance slowly start to feel possible once you start putting in the work.
At first, the numbers on the bar looked intimidating. The idea of pushing past my limits felt unrealistic. But with each rep, each session, I proved to myself that the effort itself is what bridges the gap. Strength isn’t just about muscles — it’s about the ability to keep showing up when it feels uncomfortable.
1 Habit
The one habit I want to carry forward from this is showing up no matter what. There will be days when I feel tired, when progress seems invisible, when it’s easier to skip. But consistency compounds.
As Eminem put it best, “Success is my only option, failure’s not.” The habit of showing up, of stacking small wins, is what eventually moves mountains.
1 Story
This reminds me of Arnold Schwarzenegger’s early days. When he first started training, people laughed at the idea of a young Austrian kid becoming Mr. Olympia or a Hollywood icon. But he showed up, day after day, rep after rep. He once said, “The last three or four reps is what makes the muscle grow. This area of pain divides the champion from someone else who is not a champion.” That mindset isn’t just for bodybuilding — it’s for business, for art, for anything you want to achieve. Champions are built in those moments when no one is watching, and quitting feels easier than continuing.
That’s it for this week!!!
Progress takes time, effort, and patience, but if you keep showing up, the results eventually arrive. And when they do, you realize it wasn’t the destination that mattered as much as who you became on the way there.
So here’s to more weeks of showing up, pushing limits, and learning from the process.
I am glad I get to share it all with you :)
