2024 learnings
You’ll plan every bit of life, and it will surprise you. Things don’t always go as planned.
If you don’t choose yourself, life will make you until you do
Follow your gut. It rarely leads you astray.
Chase to be the best. Not just the best version of yourself, but the best ever. If you don’t force yourself to be the best, remember there is someone else out there who could outdo you. High standards lead to actual results.
Never be okay with being mediocre. If you can change something and don’t, you’re responsible for the outcome
You have amazing friends, even if they don’t live close. They’ll still be there when you need them, and vice versa.
Living at home is a good feeling. Building relationships in your hometown can unlock happiness.
Gym and running are actual dopamine boosters.
You don’t need to sacrifice coffee. It’s not the villain.
A good diet = good health. Both mental and physical.
Don’t trust everything you read on the internet. Explore ideas but form your own opinions. Never put people on pedestals—they’re human too.
You will fail, and you will show up again. That’s all that matters. Life is like a game, play it that way. Take the Ws and Ls and keep moving forward.
Be there for people when you can. It matters more than you realize.
It’s okay to take a step back. Analyze from a better mindset, then jump back in.
You’re not short on time. Life is a marathon, not a sprint.
It’s okay to outgrow people. You can want to help them, but if they’re not ready, there’s nothing left for you to do.
You don’t need to “feel” everything in life. Look at reality and keep moving.
Poetry comes from overthinking, analyzing, or pain. Rarely from happiness—and that’s okay.
What you do may seem boring or exciting to others, but that doesn’t matter if you love it.
When you see results, all the effort makes sense.
You’ll achieve your goals, feel clueless afterward, and then find new goals to chase.
Buy gifts for the people you love. Giving brings happiness.
Be the winner, not the victim. Own the situation.
Whatever decisions you make, own them fully. Accountability is key.
ALSO:
Live a little. Step out of your routine to see what life can offer.
Make friends who don’t think or work like you. It’s refreshing.
Think less, do more. Overthinking only holds you back.
Tell people when they inspire you, even in small ways. It makes a difference.
The reason you see good in everyone is that you choose to look for it. That’s your strength.
